Gavin W. Roser

Gavin W. Roser is a leading Transport Consultant and well-known Project Manager in the European transport sector. With 40 years of transport experience, he is well known for lateral vision in all modes of freight transport. Roser comes from a background of senior appointments with road, rail and shipping companies.

UK Appointments

General Manager, Contship Overland (CP Ships)
Responsible for European intermodal business by rail, road and short sea. Focus on EU Government/EU Commission policy to maximise and integrate use of rail freight throughout Europe. Won IFW “European Rail Operator of the Year” award in 2001 for innovation in rail transport.

General Manager Europe, Securicor Omega International (BAA)
Management of Supply Chain contracts including Volvo and IBM, and executive responsibility for businesses in rail, road and maritime sectors. Developed an evolving pan-European network with overseas partners. Created new markets in Eastern Europe.

Director of Marketing, Denholm Ship Management (Holdings) Ltd
Co-ordinated sales and marketing for fleet of 120 ships worldwide. Set up JV with Hoegh in Norway to attract high margin business. Initiated successful receptions for brokers, owners and bankers to raise company profile in Europe.

Managing Director, Denholm Agency Division
Port agency and shipping services network UK/Continent and North America. Acquired 3 companies and established joint ventures in key markets. Developed cruise liner market, participation in EU projects, and Chairman of South Atlantic Developments Ltd, a four-company consortium operating in the Falklands. Chairman of short sea feeder company.

Consultant to the National Shipping Line of Iran on formation and implementation of HR policy and maritime practice. Contributed to re-writing maritime legislation.

Advisor to New Zealand Government / Shipping Corporation of New Zealand on labour relations reform and successful sale of the National Shipping Line.

Pantrak

To maintain corporate confidentiality Roser is unable to reveal several of his Pantrak clients, many of whom he advises on commercial opportunities and strategy. Other work includes market research (focused particularly in the UK and Ireland): industry surveys have also been undertaken in the context of transport demand.

About Gavin

Holder of his own Forklift Truck Licence, Gavin enjoys occasional sailing at the weekends, photography and travel. He also holds a keen interest in the issues of the day in international politics.

Audrey Macnab

Audrey enjoyed working at the forefront of the "dotcom" era in a leading B2B which attracted massive investment in its pursuit of enabling small and medium sized enterprises to trade efficiently with each other. She headed up the Customer Care function for the company, ensuring prompt and knowledgeable service for clients across Europe and the US while developing a variety of market-facing reports and statistics for the Board.

Audrey also worked in a Consultancy capacity for a small strategy firm based in London whose clients included several major investment banks.

After graduating from the University of St Andrews in Scotland and attending the Richard Ivey School in Business in Ontario, Canada, Audrey joined retailer Asda's graduate training scheme and was successful in her role as Provisions Manager in several stores across the UK.

Now busy with much "behind the scenes" in Pantrak, Audrey is thoroughly enjoying the world of Transport, Freight and Logistics.

Linda E. Roser

Linda Roser carries out administration for Pantrak and she also plays a major role in the organisation of Events.

Eloise Roser

Eloise has considerable experience in event and project management having worked for the University of Glasgow for three years organising a range of large health-related continuing professional development conferences and seminars. This was followed by a number of short contracts for a variety of companies including setting up a series of business networking events in Glasgow and managing a large 4 day international conference in Edinburgh.

She plays a large role in the management of Pantrak's meetings and conferences and handles the administration for the company.
