Eloise has considerable experience in event and project management. She organised
a range of large health-related conferences and seminars for the University
of Glasgow, and took the role of Senior Event Manager at DADA events where
she set up a series of business networking events in Glasgow and Edinburgh.
Eloise started as a freelance event management consultant in February 2007
and has had a number of exciting contracts with a range of diverse companies.

Empower Scotland
Managed a substantial four-day international conference in Edinburgh welcoming
5 nationalities to Edinburgh. Key tasks included: Setting the schedule for
the event and handling planning timescale; Liaising with partner organisations,
venues, caterers, AV companies; Planning and organising social itineraries
and partner programme; Managing delegates at the conference and overseeing
operations.
Men’s Health Forum Scotland
Organised a 2 day residential training meeting for staff. Planned a programme
of events; Sourced a venue; Negotiated on costs, Liaised with MHFS and venue.
Organised catering, accommodation and meeting space.
Budge PR
Arranged a large 2 day medical conference and exhibition for 350 UK-wide delegates
at the Edinburgh Conference Centre. Tasks included: Raising sponsorship; Liaising
with exhibitors and speakers; Organising accommodation, transport, catering
and a social programme; Negotiating with suppliers; Liaising with venue over
organisational elements; Managing operations at the event.
Pantrak Transportation Ltd
Pantrak and Coastlink are long-standing clients. Eloise has organised the
annual Coastlink conference since 2004, a transport network with now more than
100 European delegates who are top of their field. Conferences organised and
hosted in Newcastle, Perth and Dublin to date. Responsible for marketing materials,
administration of event, the website and controlling and overseeing the events.
Mindlab Scotland
Organised the first Scottish Mindlab Olympics in Glasgow. A one-day event
for 100 people including children and families. Tasks included: Planning the
schedule for the day; Overseeing a team of volunteers; Managing operations
on the day.
